Community Guidelines

How we look after each other

Trusted Pet Circles works because of the people in it. These simple guidelines keep our community kind, safe and welfare-first for every pet and every person.

🐾 Put pet welfare first

Every introduction, walk and Meet & Greet should be built around what’s best for the pets involved. If a pet seems unsettled, tired or uncomfortable, slow down or stop — there is no rush.

🤝 Be kind and respectful

Speak to other members the way you’d speak to a neighbour. No harassment, no discrimination, no aggressive language. Disagreements happen — handle them with patience.

🌱 Introduce slowly and safely

Trust is built one step at a time. Meet in a neutral, public place first. Keep dogs on leads until both owners are comfortable. Never leave a pet with someone you haven’t met in person.

🔒 Protect privacy

Share only what you’re comfortable sharing. Never post someone else’s address, phone number or personal details. Keep private conversations private.

✅ Be honest

Use real photos and accurate information about you and your pet. Mention any health conditions, allergies or behaviour that a new friend should know about — it keeps everyone safe.

🚫 What isn’t welcome

  • Buying, selling or breeding pets through the platform.
  • Advertising professional services or promotions.
  • Any form of animal cruelty, neglect or unsafe handling.
  • Impersonating another person or pet.
  • Sharing content that is illegal, hateful or explicit.

📣 Report concerns

If anything ever feels wrong — a pet’s welfare, a member’s behaviour, or something you’ve seen on the platform — please tell us. Email hello@trustedpetcircles.com. We read every message and respond personally.

We may warn, suspend or remove members who breach these guidelines. We’d always rather have a quiet, caring community than a large one.
